It was great to be invited by ABC Radio National last month (16 October 2025) to speak on a Universal Basic Income for Australia. The ABC has received a lot of interest from the public about a UBI, and this interview coincides with Anti-Poverty week where new Australian Council of Social Service (ACOSS) data shows Australian poverty has increased to 1 in 7 people in 2022-’23, up from 1 in 8 people in 2021-’22.
